The results of the establishment and beginning of the implementation of the Intelligence led policing model in the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia were presented at the two-day meeting held on December 4 and 5 in Zlatibor.
Police Director Vladimir Rebic held a working meeting with the strategic and high officials of the Police Directorate, presenting the results of the establishment and beginning of the implementation of the intelligence led policing model as a modern way of managing police affairs that is implemented with the support of the Kingdom of Sweden through the implementation of several Swedish and Serbian Cooperation Programs police.
Intelligence led policing model is based on the models of developed European police and is adapted to the needs of the Serbian police in order to improve the safety of all citizens of the Republic of Serbia and is one of the key activities in police reform.
On this occasion, an assessment of the development of the ILP in the organizational units of the Police Directorate (UKP, UP, USP and UGP), the Police Administration for the city of Belgrade and the regional police administrations was presented to the present officers of the police administrations and a new application titled "Operational Reports" was presented and demonstrated.
At this meeting, further activities in the development of the implementation of this model were also defined.
