Within the overall objective of the project to improve capacity development among relevant MOI employees in their field of work respectively, specifically within the EU component, a course EU legal was organized.

The tender procedure for the selection of the company/institution was completed in November 2016 and the company Euphorum was selected for conducting EU legal courses for 120 representatives of the MOI. Initial meeting with the company was held on 19 January 2017, proposed program agreed on between the representatives of the MOI, Euphorum and IMG. Four courses' dates were proposed as well as one additional course in the fall for app 20 most successful participants. The courses were held as following:

21-24 February 2017

25-28 April 2017

30 May - 02 June 2017

October 2017

The course was aimed at selected personnel of the Ministry of Interior directly and/or indirectly involved in the harmonization or the implementation of the EU Acquis in their daily work. The benefits of the course for relevant MOI participants would be the following:
- to recall the EU legal system
- to understand driving forces of the development of the Acquis communautaire in the JHA sector
- to apply techniques for the harmonisation of laws
- to state the current development in the area EU border control and Schengen Agreement
- to state the current development in the area Asylum and Migration
- to state the current development in the area Police Cooperation and Combating Organised Crime
