The introduction of SAP as a modern software for faster and better quality management of human resources in the Ministry of Interior was initiated within the IT project "Support to the strategic development of the IT system within the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia ", which was also financed by the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden, and implemented by the International Management Group.
This activity is further supported through the project "Support to development capacities of strategic management and European integration in the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia", which is currently being implemented in the MUP.
As part of the reform of the human resources sector as part of the overall reform of the MUP, SAP has helped to move from the administrative way of business to unify and maximize the use of all human resources functions in order to effectively operate this complex system with a large number of employees. The previous system used a unique personnel record that was part of the entire IT system of the Ministry. The SAP system contains modules that are implemented in the CORE HR system, so it is now enabled to quickly and efficiently meet all the requirements of the organization and completely change and modernize business procedures.
At the recently held SAP forum in Belgrade, Gordana Vuković, Assistant Head of the HR Department presented the application of this software and its benefits for more efficient performance of human resources functions and thus of the entire system of the Ministry of Interior.
