A three-day Training Program for Trainers within the project "Support to the Development Capacity of Strategic Governance and European Integration in the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia" was held in Belgrade from 21 to 23 March at the Falkensteiner Hotel, financed by the Swedish Government, and implemented by IMG.
The aim of this course was to provide senior police leaders with key strategic knowledge, understanding and ability to effectively manage, conduct organizational and operational changes, and increase the capacity of the Police Directorate and the Ministry of Interior to provide services.
Thanks to this course, participants has received valuable skills and knowledge that they will be able to apply in practice. Among other things, the course enabled them to describe alternative proactive management and behavior styles that are effective in the police environment, effectively communicate with their subordinates, colleagues and officers within the police, the Police Directorate and the Ministry of the Interior, and demonstrate the ability to effectively make decisions and solve problems.
Lecturer at the course was James Livold, an experienced trainer, consultant and mentor from the British agency "Exemplas" for strategic management issues. Livold has working experience in the private and public sector in leadership and leadership positions, and he taught and compiled materials for the previous projects of the MoI Strategic Management and Strategic Human Resource Management.
